Privacy & data

Updated October 31, 2026

Sisyphus is a free workout and measurement tracker operated from Maryland, USA. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion help, contact weirdquiet@gmail.com. Please do not email passwords or your full health history. We may need to verify that a request concerns your account.

What the app uses

Creating an account supplies your email address and creates an account identifier. Supabase manages password authentication. Sisyphus stores your entered exercises, schedules, workout logs, optional weight, waist and height, preferences, Notes, drawings, game best score and selected game season under your account identifier. BMI is calculated from your weight and height. This information is used to provide the tracker, charts, saving, recovery and synchronization.

Hosting, accounts and email

This public website at sisyfit.pages.dev is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Supabase provides Sisyphus accounts, authentication and the database for your saved app data, including workouts, measurements, Notes, drawings and saved game progress. A ChatGPT account is not required. Your saved tracker records are not a public profile or a ChatGPT conversation. Access to cloud records is restricted to the corresponding account through database access controls; authorized service administration and support may require access to operate or troubleshoot the service.

Google/Gmail sends account-confirmation and password-recovery emails from sissyreco@gmail.com. This involves processing your email address and the message, including the confirmation or recovery link. These are account-service emails, not marketing emails. Do not forward recovery links or share passwords. Email-delivery and security records may be retained by the providers.

Cloudflare, Supabase and Google process information needed to provide their services, which can include IP addresses, browser/device information, request timestamps and operational or security logs. See the Cloudflare privacy policy, Supabase privacy policy and Google privacy policy. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. This notice describes the public Sisyphus site; the earlier ChatGPT-hosted version uses a separate hosting and account system.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and do not intentionally share it with employers, insurers or healthcare providers. The app does not implement advertising trackers or session replay. This notice does not authorize unrelated market research using your personal workout or measurement records; any new research use would require a separate assessment, updated notice and any consent required by applicable law.

On your device and in your account

Workouts, measurements, Notes, drawings, the game’s best score and selected season save to your signed-in Sisyphus account and sync across devices. The current game run is temporary and does not resume on another device. Older browser-only Notes, drawings and game scores are uploaded only after you confirm they belong to you.

Browser storage keeps your sign-in session, an account-specific cache and pending changes. Signing out through the app clears that account’s synchronized tracker cache on this browser. Pending changes must finish syncing before signing out. Appearance preferences, quote history and interface choices can remain shared within a browser profile. This website does not offer a separate local-only mode.

Browser storage is not a secure vault. Someone with access to your device or browser profile may be able to read local data. Use separate browser profiles or device accounts on shared devices. Clearing site storage can erase unsynced changes and older browser-only content that has not been imported. Data successfully saved to your cloud account can be retrieved by signing in again.

Copies, backups and deletion

Active cloud records remain until you delete them. Imports and simultaneous edits can retain alternate copies in your account’s backup data so that information is not silently lost. If Notes or Draw are edited differently on two devices, an alternate version is retained in the downloadable backup. Deleting a log or measurement also removes matching retained copies with that record’s identifier from current app data. Separately created records with other identifiers may need their own deletion.

“Delete all data” clears current workouts, measurements, preferences, Notes, drawings, saved game progress and retained copies from your cloud account. A deletion-generation marker prevents older pending device changes from restoring that cleared account data automatically when they reconnect. Individual deleted-record identifiers are retained to prevent stale devices from restoring those records. Explicitly restoring a downloaded backup can add its contents again.

Delete all data does not delete your sign-in account, downloaded files, copies held offline on other devices until they reconnect, or provider-operated backups and security logs. Contact weirdquiet@gmail.com to request deletion of your sign-in account and associated cloud records. We verify account ownership before processing requests; do not send your password. Provider backup and security-log retention depends on their applicable services and legal requirements; this app does not promise immediate deletion from those systems.

Download backup exports your account’s tracker data, Notes, drawings, saved game progress, preferences and retained import/conflict records as readable JSON. Keep backups private: Sisyphus does not password-protect them. Delete downloaded copies yourself when no longer needed.

Your choices

Measurements are optional. You can edit exercises, remove dated logs and measurements, export your account data, clear Notes/Draw, and use Delete all data. Contact the email above for other requests or concerns. You may request access, correction or deletion and ask about withdrawing permission for optional measurement processing. If you disagree with our response, contact us to request a review. Depending on your location, you may also complain to your local privacy regulator or attorney general. These controls do not limit applicable legal rights.

Audience and purpose

Sisyphus is a general fitness tool, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It is not designed specifically for young children. If you believe a child’s information has been entered inappropriately, contact us. Availability does not establish that the service meets every jurisdiction’s child-data requirements.

We will update this page when these practices change. This notice describes the current app and does not promise that browser storage, recovery or hosting is risk-free.
